the project
Wattle is a made-up product for the households putting solar and a battery on the roof, and for the installers who look after hundreds of those systems afterwards.
The home dashboard answers the one question most people have: where is my energy going right now? Solar, home, battery and grid sit in one diagram, with the day’s production behind it and the battery’s plan written out in words.
Installers see their whole fleet: every site’s health, today’s output, open alerts and firmware, on a map of south-east Queensland. An alert carries its own diagnosis and the next step, from a remote restart to booking a technician.
The bill estimate is kept plain: this quarter against last year, what was imported and exported, and whether a different plan would do better.
